Wedding photography - authentic and artistic reportage

My approach to wedding photography
Being a wedding photographer means above all observing and telling a story. My approach is based on a documentary and artistic style: I capture emotions as they happen, without posing or directing. It's the laughter, the tears, the spontaneous gestures that make up a strong, true story.
I use light and composition to give each image an artistic dimension. A reflection in a mirror, the atmosphere of a living room, a ray of sunlight filtering through the windows: everything becomes material for creating unique, modern yet timeless photos.
I'm not looking for frozen perfection, but for sincerity. The photographer's role is to preserve the intensity of that day so that you can relive it years later. Every detail, every moment has its place in a wedding report that reflects you.
Experience in France and abroad
I've been photographing weddings in France and abroad for over fifteen years. I've accompanied couples in Auvergne, Paris, the United States, Asia and Europe. This diversity has taught me to adapt to the specific cultures, traditions and expectations of each wedding.
My career as a war photojournalist in Lebanon and Afghanistan taught me to observe, anticipate and shoot at the decisive moment. Today, this reflex enables me to capture true emotions, even in quick, unexpected moments.
I work with French couples who get married in their home region, but also with international couples who come to France to celebrate their union. This mix of experiences nourishes my vision and enriches each report. The essential thing is always the same: to tell a heartfelt story, through strong, human images.
Where I work
Destination Weddings in France (Luxury & International)
Destination weddings are attracting more and more international couples, particularly from the USA, the UK and Asia, who choose France for its heritage and prestigious locations. Whether it's a large wedding or an intimate elopement in Paris, Provence or the Côte d'Azur, I offer complete coverage designed for high-end weddings, with two photographers included so you don't miss a thing.
Most couples invest between €8,500 and €12,000. These collections include my presence and that of a second shooter, as well as the possibility of adding a Light Director. This specific role involves working on lighting ambiances, particularly during evening events and night portraits, to sublimate each scene with a more cinematic aesthetic.
I accompany international couples in French or English, from the first exchanges over video to the final delivery. My role is to guarantee complete, authentic photo coverage, true to your expectations.
Weddings in Paris and the Ile-de-France region
Paris is a unique destination for wedding celebrations. From prestigious hotels such as the Ritz and Shangri-La to theHôtel de Crillon and the Rodin Museum, each venue has its own unique atmosphere. My approach is to capture both theelegance of the setting and the true emotions that take place there.
Most French couples invest between €3,500 and €4,500. These packages include a complete reportage with a single photographer, from preparation through to the evening. I pay particular attention to the festive moments, often rich in powerful images: the speeches, the dance floor, the embraces with loved ones.
Being a wedding photographer in Paris also means knowing how to anticipate technical constraints: how to manage lighting in the salons, the rhythm of a large reception, or even how to shoot night portraits in the city. These details give your images a unique and personal signature.
Weddings in Auvergne
Auvergne is my home base. I photograph weddings in the region's castles and estates, including Château de Miremont, La Canière and Bois Rigaud. These venues offer a natural and historic setting that enhances both intimate weddings and large-scale receptions.
Most couples invest around €3,000. This fee includes a full-day report, with the same high standards as for my Paris and international services. The difference lies in the proximity and ease of organization for local couples. On the other hand, these packages only include one photographer, with no assistant or second shooter.
Being a Clermont-Ferrand wedding photographer allows me to stay close to my roots while applying a high-end approach, inherited from my international experience.
My role as a wedding photographer
Preparation and support
A successful wedding is prepared in advance. Before each shoot, I propose a video chat and a detailed questionnaire to understand your expectations, your loved ones and your family history. These elements enable me to anticipate important moments and be in the right place at the right time.
I take into account your traditions, your surprises, your rituals, so that nothing is left to chance. The aim is for you to be able to live your day to the full, without worrying about photos. I'm present, but discreet, attentive to everything that's going on.
From day to night
I cover the whole day: preparations, ceremonies, cocktails, dinner, speeches and the evening. Unlike many photographers, I stay on late into the night, because that's often when the most intense images are created.
The dance floor, the laughter, the late-night embraces reveal another side of marriage: freer, more energetic, more raw. I also like to offer a few night portraits: in front of the Eiffel Tower, on Place Vendôme or in the grounds of an illuminated château. These images become a strong signature in the report, a visual conclusion to your day.
and for us, we were very lucky to have you to mark these unique moments forever... so simply and with a lot of emotion: Thank you."
A creative eye for extraordinary images.
