Caroline & Lionel
Cantal wedding photographer: a bohemian wedding
Intimate country wedding
Summary
Wedding photographer Cantal marriage bohemian of Caroline and Lionel.
Last year, I had the honor of being the photographer for Caroline and Lionel's civil wedding in the Cantal region of France. It's with great pleasure that I join them again today to capture their religious ceremony and the evening in the family home, a barn magnificently decorated for the occasion.
Located in Auvergneclose to Murat, the setting offers an idyllic backdrop for this bohemian-style wedding. The capricious weather did not dampen the spirits of the bride and groom and their guests.
A cocktail party is planned outside, right in front of the barn, and we're keeping a close eye on the evening forecast.
The Cantal, an idyllic setting for a bohemian wedding
A wedding in two days
The previous year, before the civil ceremony, we did a first look (intimate discovery of the bride and groom) in front of a picturesque waterfall. A moment of intense emotion, before joining the guests at the town hall. It's an important moment for any wedding photographer.
After the civil ceremony, the barn welcomed guests for the vin d'honneur. This symbolic location served as the backdrop for both weddings, celebrating the love of the bride and groom in a unique country family setting.
A symbolic place: the family home
For their wedding, the lovers chose to celebrate their union in a symbolic setting: the family home.
When I joined the bride and groom at the church, I was warmly welcomed and felt like a full member of the family. Seeing them again a year after the civil ceremony allowed me to forge stronger bonds and get to know their loved ones better.
I had the pleasure of meeting the parents and friends of the bride and groom, who welcomed me with great kindness and sincere conviviality. It was a special moment that I particularly appreciated.
Cantal wedding photographer: capturing the mood of the evening
Wedding reception in a barn
After the church ceremonyThe guests headed for the family home, set in the heart of the Cantalien countryside. A path marked out with wooden signs homemade led to the field where the cocktail and the evening were about to unfold.
Caroline and Lionel did a wonderful job decorating the place, creating a charming country and bohemian atmosphere. The decor, done with care and love, reflected their personalities perfectly.
Visit group photos were taken in the field, an ideal setting for capturing unique images. I was able to highlight the beauty of the landscape and the joy of the guests.
One particularly moving moment stood out for me: the tender embrace between grandmother and grandson. A fleeting moment that I was lucky enough to immortalize.
As a wedding photographerI'm always on the lookout for unique and authentic moments to capture. Wedding in the Cantal of Caroline and Lionel was full of these moments, and I was delighted to be able to share them with them.
The couple session for the bride and groom
Visit cocktail was an opportunity for guests to spoil the bride and groom with thoughtful gifts.
While some had fun at the photoboothOthers were enjoying delicious oysters. Taking advantage of a quiet moment, we isolated ourselves for a few minutes to make the bride and groom photo session. A barn adjoining the reception venue provided the backdrop for this special occasion.
The session then continued in a field where the guests' tents were set up. The scene was comical: the bride and groom shared romantic moments under the amused eyes of their friends, who didn't miss a moment of the touching spectacle.
The evening began in the barn to the cheers of the guests, who were delighted to welcome the bride and groom. The barn was beautifully decorated according to a bohemian country themewhich perfectly matched this unique location in the Cantal countryside.
Wedding photographer Cantal : conclusion
A bohemian wedding in the countryside
Caroline and Lionel chose to celebrate their civil wedding on a delayed basis.
This judicious choice offers many advantages for organizing a smooth, serene wedding day, especially when a religious or secular ceremony is also planned.
In fact, combining the two ceremonies on the same day can prove restrictive. The couple is dependent on the timetable imposed by the town hall, often in the morning or early afternoon. This can create long pauses between the two events, requiring guests to find something to do.
Visit intimate marriage Caroline and Lionel's home in the heart of the Cantal region was distinguished by its beauty and tranquility. The small number of guests allowed them to make the most of every precious moment with their loved ones.
The warm, family atmosphere contributed to a unique sense of belonging and closeness, making me feel like an integral part of the party.
