The session

This weekend, I left Clermont Ferrand for Toulouse. What a pleasure to photo opportunity of my little sister and her sweetheart! We took advantage of a short family weekend in the Toulouse area to go and do the pregnancy photo shoot in the Pyrenees while there was still some snow. It's late March and the landscape is just right.

The little princess is due to arrive in the next month and a half. She'll be delighted to see photos of her parents, who have been waiting impatiently for her. When she's a little older, we'll be back to take a look. photo opportunity !

I suggested that they do the pregnancy photos as close to home as possible. In fact, they live Pamiers in Ariège, south of Toulouseand I'm in Auvergne. The Toulouse region, and Ariège in particular, is full of magnificent landscapes that lend themselves perfectly to a spregnancy photo shooting. We drove about 1 hour from Pamiers to reach the spot for the pregnancy shoot.

It was really cold. Sophie wore a winter coat between each sequence.

This red maternity dress shows off mom's round belly to perfection. The couple photos are as I imagined them before the couple shoot.

The weather was quite favorable for the session, despite the cold. It was sunny at one point, which helped to vary the rendering from the very cloudy beginning.

After the pregnancy photo shoot, we're off to Pamiers for a well-deserved hot chocolate!

Pregnancy session: the dress

For a pregnancy shootingWe advise you to choose clothes in which you'll feel comfortable. It may be a good idea to buy or even rent a dress just for the occasion. In winter, whether you're in the Auvergne volcanoes near Clermont Ferrand, or in the Pyrenees near Toulouse, you'll need to cover up well between shots.

Such is the case with Sophie. For her pregnancy shooting in the Pyreneesshe ordered a red pregnancy dress. The result is just fabulous!

With the gradations of color in the blue and orange sky, the green of the grass, and their colorful outfits, the rendering is extraordinary.

For the shoot, Sophie brought along a warm winter coat, which is obviously not visible in the photos.

Before each shot, Sophie would hand her jacket to someone off-camera, or simply throw it on the ground far enough away. Believe me, it was damn cold!
