Aurélie & Alexander
It was at the Château de Bourrassol, located between Clermont Ferrand and Riom, that our bride and groom decided to say "I do".
A place steeped in history, dating back to the 12th century.
A wedding in the colors of Germany and France for these two sweethearts, Aurélie and Alexander, who made the trip from Berlin.
Alexander's family and friends travelled all the way from Germany to witness their union. Aurélie, a native of the region, had a shorter trip.
So it was in the family home that the bride got ready, accompanied by her mom and sister.
Aurélie's dressing up in her beautiful dress gave us a good laugh.
Alexander chose to prepare for his wedding with his witnesses from Berlin. They also took the opportunity to discover France, and in particular our beautiful Auvergne.
Aurélie and Alexander decided to marry in front of their nearest and dearest in a secular ceremony beautifully conducted by master of ceremonies Jonathan Tinet. Everyone gathered in the courtyard of the Chateau de Bourrassol under the shade of a huge tree.
As the slightly stressed groom stood in front of the assembly, we saw the bride appear on the arm of her daddy.
I can't hide the fact that this ceremony had us all on edge. Beautiful, moving speeches punctuated by funny anecdotes that made us laugh.
The cocktail party and evening were held at the Hotel Océania in the heart of downtown Clermont Ferrand. A beautiful and original urban setting.
While the guests were enjoying their meal, the bride and groom were reminiscing about their dance steps in a corner of the room.
This was followed by a first dance, in the midst of their guests who were captivated by the complicity emanating from these two lovers. Aurélie and Alexander's love for each other is endearing.
It was my first wedding at the Château de Bourrassol and at the Hotel Oceania in Clermont Ferrand.
This magnificent day flew by. I hope one day I'll have the chance to see my bride and groom again on one of their trips to the region.
