Saturday: civil wedding and secular ceremony at Château de Maulmont
Preparations in the tower and a relaxed atmosphere
The day began in the castle tower, with the Kathryn and Shoumo's preparations in separate spaces. Soft lighting, a calm atmosphere, no tension. I sensed right away that this was going to be a fluid day. Exchanges were simple, smiles were present, and the atmosphere was conducive to capturing real moments.

Outdoor secular ceremony and lunch in the courtyard
Visit non-denominational ceremony was held just outside the château, in the open air. Around fifty guests attended, all of them close to the couple. A violinist played liveA sincere, unstaged atmosphere to accompany the highlights of the ceremony.
During the speech by the master of ceremonies that I discovered their story: a meet in 2021 at a trade eventand the start of their relationship in 2022. A discreet, natural, unhurried trajectory that makes this marriage all the more touching.
Once everyone is seated at the table in the courtyard of the Château de Maulmont, Shoumo spoke up to make a speech and thank everyone. A lovely moment to share, which launched the lunch in a friendly, simple, informal atmosphere. Afterwards, everyone was able to enjoy the meal, chat and laugh... exactly what we like to find on this kind of day.
Sunday: Indian wedding ceremony in Auvergne under a big top
The arrival of traditional outfits and installation in the park
The next morning, the mood changes. Starting at 10:30 a.m., the château de Maulmont park hosted the second part of the wedding: a Indian ceremony organized under a large big top.
Guests arrived dressed in traditional Indian outfits saris, embroidery and brilliant colors. The atmosphere was lively and festive, with that special energy you find at Indian weddings, even here in the Auvergne.
