Paris Elopement Photographer — Engagement & Pre-Wedding Sessions

Why Choose Paris for Your Elopement

As a Paris elopement photographer, I capture both elopements and engagement sessions for couples who want their story told honestly. My approach is documentary — focused on real moments, laughter, and the quiet in-betweens. For portraits, whether it’s a pre-wedding shoot at sunrise or an evening session in Paris lights, I keep direction simple so you feel at ease. The result: natural images, authentic and timeless, with the city as your backdrop.

Why Couples Choose Me

  • A recognisable signature : clean compositions, bold lines, rich blacks, true-to-skin tones — layered frames that read like scenes, not poses.

  • Immersive reportage : I work close and quiet to catch raw, unposed emotion — images that take you back.

  • Paris without the crowds : dawn routes, quiet backstreets, fast plan-B moves. Iconic backdrops without the chaos.

  • Signature night portraits : Paris lit up — bridges, courtyards, skyline — done in 20 minutes with portable lights. Cinematic, unmistakably mine.

  • Light, mastered anywhere : natural light when it sings; off-camera flash when it matters. Consistent, crisp results in any weather.

  • Proven delivery : 150+ weddings across Europe, the US, and Asia; internationally published. Consistent craft, start to finish.

  • Discretion & privacy : a calm presence and confidential handling of your images.

  • Only 15 weddings a year — by design.

Pre-Wedding & Engagement Sessions in Paris

Before your wedding day, many couples choose to plan an engagement or pre-wedding session in Paris. It’s a chance to slow down, explore the city, and create portraits without the schedule of the wedding itself.

We meet at sunrise for quiet streets and soft light, or later for golden hour and the glow of Paris at night. I keep direction simple so you can focus on each other. The result : natural portraits with iconic backdrops — the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, hidden courtyards, or a café terrace.

An engagement session is also the perfect way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your elopement. You’ll know how I work, and on your wedding day everything feels easy and familiar.

FAQ — Paris Elopement & Engagement Sessions

Why should we choose you over another photographer?
My background is in documentary photography, shaped by years of photojournalism. I bring that same eye to weddings and portraits in Paris: authentic moments, layered storytelling, and subtle direction for portraits that feel natural. Beyond the technique, I approach each wedding as an artist — creating a body of work that is personal, timeless, and made to last.

Why don’t you deliver thousands of photos like some photographers?
Because every image I deliver is carefully considered and truly different from the next. My work is not about volume, but about crafting a gallery where each photograph has its own strength and meaning. Instead of duplicates, you receive a selection where every frame adds to the story. This gives your collection an emotional and artistic power that a gallery filled with near-identical images could never achieve.

How much does a Paris elopement photographer cost?
Elopement coverage in Paris starts at €750 for 2 hours with one photographer. Longer packages (4h or 6h) include more portraits across different locations. Every gallery is fully edited and delivered in a private online space.

What’s the best time of day for an engagement session in Paris?
Sunrise offers empty streets and soft light, while golden hour brings warm tones. At night, Paris lights create a cinematic mood. Each option works — it depends on the atmosphere you want.

Do you also offer pre-wedding shoots in Paris?
Yes. Many couples plan a pre-wedding session before their elopement. It’s a relaxed way to explore the city and get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day.

How do we book you as our Paris elopement photographer?
Booking is simple: you receive a contract to sign electronically and pay a 30% retainer to secure your date. The remaining balance is due closer to the wedding or session. Once the contract and payment are complete, your date is fully reserved.

How many photos do we get from an elopement or engagement session?
For elopements, you receive 80 to 300+ images, depending on the length of coverage. Engagement sessions range from 20 to 60+ photos depending on the package. All are high-resolution, fully edited, and ready to download.

Can we add a night session with Paris lights?
Absolutely. An evening portrait session is one of the most popular options. It adds a different mood to your gallery, with creative lighting and the atmosphere of Paris after dark.

Do you help with planning locations and timing?
Yes. I give advice on the best routes, hidden spots, and timing so your photos flow naturally. You don’t need to worry about logistics — just enjoy the moment.

Do you travel outside of Paris for sessions?
Of course. Versailles, Giverny, or even the French Riviera can be included as options. Travel fees apply depending on distance.

Merci.
